Contact usWe support several common pricing rule types out of the box: matching the lowest price among your tracked competitors, pricing a fixed percentage below the lowest competitor (for example, 1% under), pricing at the average of your competitor set, or a fully custom rule that combines multiple conditions. A custom rule might say something like 'match the lowest competitor unless that would put us below cost plus a 10% margin floor, in which case hold at the floor price.' We discuss your specific business constraints individually, since the right rule depends on your margins, category, and competitive position.
Yes — dynamic pricing doesn't have to mean fully automatic price changes if you're not ready for that. You can choose to receive regular reports showing what your prices would be under your chosen pricing rule, then review and apply the changes yourself. This is a common starting point for businesses that want to validate the pricing logic before trusting it to run unattended. Once you're comfortable with how the rule behaves across your catalog, you can switch to full automation, where price changes are applied directly without requiring manual approval each time.
Full automation requires a way for us to actually push price updates into your store, which typically means either an API your development team can expose, or direct access to the database or platform where your prices are stored. If your e-commerce platform doesn't have an API, we can usually still automate updates by writing directly to the underlying database, though this requires more careful coordination with your team to avoid conflicts with other systems that also write prices. We'll assess your specific setup before committing to an automation approach.
This depends on your plan: daily, several times a day, or real-time, similar to our price monitoring tiers. For dynamic pricing specifically, the right frequency depends on how often your rule needs to react — if you're matching the lowest competitor in a fast-moving category, checking only once a day means your price could lag the market for most of the day. Categories with slower competitor price movement can usually run safely on a daily check without losing a meaningful pricing advantage.
