How does it work
The overall process is super easy. Here is a breakdown:
Requirements Gathering
First of all, we need to know what information your business needs to monitor. This could include: prices, discounts, sales, inventory, reviews, product properties, etc.
At this stage, we should also agree on the format of the final deliverable. It could be a simple CSV or XLSX file or we can integrate the dataflow with your software. Optionally, we offer to create a dashboard for you via Microsoft Power BI.
After agreeing on what data shall be collected, we need to know where to look for it. Usually it's a list of your competitors and your market platforms.
The final question would be the frequency of data updates. We can provide you with data: daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
Once all questions are discussed, you will receive your final offer and a contract to sign.
Development and First Run
Usually, it takes us between 1 and 5 business days to create a scrapper depending on the complexity of the website and its bots protection. Thereafter, we will provide you with a result sample to review. Once a green light is received, we will put the scrapper on an automated schedule.
